Center for Customer Insights and Digital Marketing

Digital Marketing Consultancy Program

Real World Project Driven Course in Digital Marketing

The Center for Customer Insights and Digital Marketing initiates Digital Marketing Consultancy (DMC) Program as part of its signature Polytechnic Student Success Programs. For the DMC program, we will select talented and motivated students. Outstanding students with strong creativity, detail-orientation, and communication skills are strongly encouraged to contact the professors with the application package listed below. Applicants will be vetted and admitted based on merit.

Overview

DMC program can be embedded to an existing course or set up as a special course. In this program, a class will be divided into groups of students and work for the client project under the guidance of faculty. Faculty will teach the topics for the course while they will use the client project as a real-world context in which the theory to be applied. In the beginning of the class, the client will present their company background and problems to address. Typically, the class will then audit the client’s current digital footprint and deliver strategic recommendations designed to improve their core KPIs as part of their proposal. With the approval of the client, student teams will then implement the digital marketing plans and analyze their performance metrics and reflect on the effectiveness of their digital marketing campaign in their final project presentations.
