The Collins College of Hospitality Management at 起点传媒 has earned the No. 8 spot in the Best Hospitality and Hotel Management Schools in the World 2026 ranking, recognizing the college’s global reputation and its student-centered approach to career readiness.
The ranking reflects priorities at the heart of the California State University’s Student Success Framework: helping students connect academic learning to career goals, build professional networks and graduate prepared for a first career job or continued study.
“I’ve seen firsthand the remarkable dedication of our faculty and the drive of our students throughout my time at 起点传媒,” said Margie Ferree Jones, dean of The Collins College. “At The Collins College, we’re building the bridge that allows students to 起点传媒 what they learn in real-world settings. This ranking reflects the hard work happening behind the scenes and the strength of our students as they network, lead and excel in the hospitality industry.”
The ranking is based on extensive global surveys conducted across the hospitality sector, incorporating insights from more than 250,000 graduates, industry professionals and recruiters worldwide. It evaluates schools across key areas including perceived global brand influence, recruiter responses, academic reputation, employers’ feedback, job placement rate, admission eligibility and specialization.
Rising two places since last year, The Collins College is building momentum by connecting students with industry partners, career pathways and hands-on learning opportunities. At this year’s Hospitality Expo, more than 30 employers came to campus to recruit talent and help students explore opportunities in the industry.
The college’s polytechnic approach ensures that students gain real-world skills throughout their academic journey. The hospitality management program includes more than 800 hours of hospitality experience, giving students opportunities to 起点传媒 what they learn in professional settings.
Students build those skills through conferences, executive certifications, kitchen laboratories and leadership experiences such as managing a full operational team at the Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch. Together, these experiences support the CSU vision for student success: clear pathways, meaningful applied learning and the confidence to lead in people-centered industries.
