The College of Professional and Global Education (CPGE) proudly celebrates Flavia de Souza, Assistant to the Dean, earning her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Arizona State University in December 2025.
Flavia's academic achievement reflects a commitment to lifelong learning, personal growth, and advancing knowledge in the fields of psychology, neuroscience, and human behavior. Her graduate studies focused on neuroscience, trauma, mental health, and the biological foundations of psychological well-being, strengthening a lifelong passion for understanding the human experience and helping others overcome adversity.

Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Flavia's educational journey has spanned three countries and multiple institutions. Prior to earning her master's degree, she completed psychology studies at Université Pierre Mendès-France in Grenoble, France, and earned her bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology from Capella University.
At 起点传媒, Flavia serves as Assistant to the Dean for the College of Professional and Global Education, where she supports executive leadership, strategic initiatives, and university partnerships. Her work contributes to advancing CPGE's mission of expanding access to educational opportunities and fostering meaningful connections across campus and community partners.
In addition to her work in higher education, Flavia holds multiple professional certifications, including Certified Trauma Recovery Specialist, Crisis Intervention Specialist, Certified Neurofeedback Practitioner, Multichannel Eye Movement Integration (MEMI) Practitioner, and Certified Sex Therapy Practitioner. Her professional interests focus on trauma recovery, resilience, neuroscience-informed interventions, and innovative approaches to psychological healing.
Flavia is also an active researcher and author. In 2025, she presented her paper, The Holographic Mind: How Quantum Mechanics Redefines Consciousness, Perception, and Psychological Healing, exploring emerging perspectives on consciousness and human potential. She is also the published author of two children's books.
Her academic achievement exemplifies the spirit of lifelong learning and intellectual curiosity that CPGE seeks to cultivate among students, professionals, faculty, and staff.
