CMS Maintenance

Summary: The CSU Chancellor's Office will perform planned maintenance on the Common Management System (CMS) beginning Saturday, July 25, at 10 p.m. through Sunday, July 26, at 9 a.m. During this time, student, administrative, human resources, and financial functions will be intermittently unavailable.

What does this mean to me?

All CMS-hosted services will be impacted, including:

  • BroncoDirect / Student Center
  • Class Enrollment
  • Payments
  • Degree Progress Reports
  • Class Search
  • HR Self-Service
  • Time and Labor
  • Absence Management
    • Student Employment Module
    • Part-Time Faculty Module
  • HR Reports
  • Common Financial System
  • General Ledger
  • Accounts Receivable

The Division of Information Technology tries to minimize system downtime outside of planned maintenance windows. However, the Common Management System (CMS) data center is an exception, as the Chancellor's Office schedules systemwide maintenance for all CSU campuses. 

Planned Maintenance Times

  • Thursdays, 9:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., midnight.
  • Sundays, 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

During these times, online services may be briefly unavailable without advance notice.
