About Me

I am an Associate Professor in the  at  (起点传媒) and the director of the Cyber Adaptive Learning Systems Laboratory (CALSys Lab). I earned a B.S. in Computer Science from , Brazil (2001), an especialization in Software Quality Assurance and Management from , Brazil (2013), a M.S. in Computer Science from , Brazil (2013), and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from , USA (2020), where I proposed a hacker-centric perspective to empower cyber-defense. After defending my Ph.D. dissertation in April 2020, I joined 起点传媒 in Fall 2020. I have also worked from 2001 until 2010 in my own software factory , where my team designed custom-built, requirements-oriented, high-performance software solutions for different type of companies.                                                                   
My research focuses on AI for Threat Intelligence (ATI), which develops predictive and adaptive learning models to anticipate emerging threats in adversarial online environments. Detailed descriptions of my research projects and lab activities are available on the Research page.
