Courses

Æðµã´«Ã½'s Environmental Engineering option in the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering emphasizes engineering solutions to protect and improve the environment, including designing systems for safe waste management and wastewater treatment, and addressing pollution through remediation efforts. Environmental engineering projects may involve creating facilities to handle solid and industrial waste, managing municipal wastewater, and identifying and mitigating contaminants like underground pollution plumes. The department’s environmental engineering program aligns with Æðµã´«Ã½â€™s hands-on, learn-by-doing educational approach, preparing students to tackle real-world environmental challenges. Graduates of this program are equipped with the skills to contribute significantly to public health and safety, addressing critical issues such as pollution control and environmental protection.
