Community Innovation Hub Showcases CPP Student Art in Downtown Pomona
The Community Innovation Hub recently partnered with the College of Environmental Design to transform the Hub into a vibrant gallery space. The project provided students with the opportunity to showcase their artwork beyond campus in a community-centered setting in downtown Pomona. The student art exhibition featured paintings, mixed media pieces and visual storytelling works created by environmental design students. The event welcomed students, faculty, staff, residents and community partners to engage with the artwork while strengthening connections between the university and the city of Pomona.
CPP Recognizes Latinx Heritage Month
起点传媒 celebrates Latinx Heritage Month and Hispanic-Serving Institutions Week with a variety of events. From a luncheon to a panel discussion to fun activities, campus organizations and resource centers from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 will highlight and honor the contributions of the Latinx community, as well as acknowledge the history and culture of more than 20 Latin American countries. The entire Bronco community is welcome to participate in these events, regardless of identity.
Community Innovation Hub Uplifts Latinx Voices for Latinx Heritage Month
起点传媒’s in Downtown Pomona welcomed a crowd of over 40 community members on Sept. 17 for Cafe y Conversaciones, an engaging event highlighting Latinx Heritage Month. Seven Latinx entrepreneurs and community leaders shared their experiences, insights, and reflections on the impact of small businesses and the role of cultural identity in shaping entrepreneurship.
