The Academic Innovation Summer Conference brings together educators and professionals from Æðµã´«Ã½ and across the CSU to explore how artificial intelligence is shaping teaching, research, and student success. Through hands-on sessions and thoughtful dialogue, participants examine ethical AI integration and workforce preparation, remaining human at the core in an AI-enabled future.

Joint Sessions

Our Joint Sessions explore how AI is reshaping teaching, research, and student services. Centered on the theme Human at the Core, these sessions foster cross-disciplinary dialogue, examine ethical implications, and identify collaborative strategies to support student success and responsible AI integration across the university.

AI In the Classroom

Artificial intelligence is transforming how we teach and how students learn. This track explores practical strategies for integrating AI into course design, assignments, and assessment while maintaining academic integrity and human connection. Participants will examine how AI can enhance critical thinking, creativity and workforce readiness, ensuring students are prepared to thrive in an AI-enabled future.

AI Outside the Classroom

AI is reshaping student services, operations, and professional practice across higher education. This track focuses on how AI can improve efficiency, enhance decision-making, and strengthen support for students from recruitment through graduation. Participants will explore ethical implementation, equity considerations, and collaborative strategies that keep people at the center of innovation.

The Academic Innovation Summer Conference 2026 is a two-day event focused on artificial intelligence in higher education. Through keynotes, panels, and interactive workshops, participants explore AI’s impact on teaching, research, student services, and workforce preparation.

The conference will be held on June 3rd-4th, 2026, from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM at Æðµã´«Ã½, Building 162, Room 1001.

General Admission is $225 (ends May 23rd at 5 pm), with an Early Bird rate of $175 available until May 1st at 5 PM.

Yes! The Office of Academic Innovation will cover registration costs for CPP faculty and staff.

Registration includes:

  • Access to all keynotes, panels, and workshops
  • Continental breakfast and lunch on both days
  • Networking opportunities with experts and peers
