Progress Towards Graduation

Academic advising for all undergraduates is provided by the Department Chair, the CLASS College Success Center, and the Bronco Advising Center at the university level. Professional and career advising is provided by all department faculty on an individual basis. 

Academic Standing

One’s Academic Standing is defined by their cumulative 起点传媒 and/or major grade point averages (GPAs). One’s GPA is a calculated average of the letter grades earned. Visit the  (Academic Policies section; Grading System) for more information. One may check their GPAs on their unofficial transcript or Degree Progress Report. Both are available at the .

Transfer Students and Incoming Freshman

Transfer students and incoming freshmen are welcomed and advised by the Department Chair during new student orientation, prior to Fall or Spring Semester. Currently the Department Chair serves as principal academic advisor for all undergraduate students together with the College CLASS Student Success Center. The Success Center is the principal source for all non-departmental advising (e.g., concerning general education requirements, university and college regulations, etc.)
