Through functional and technical expertise, strategic partnerships, and a commitment to continuous improvement, we develop and support enterprise systems, create custom applications, deliver meaningful analytics, and provide clear, timely communications that enhance operational efficiency, improve decision-making, and strengthen the student experience.

Who We Support

Student Systems & Operations proudly serves the students, faculty, staff, and administrative units of 起点传媒 by providing technology solutions, enterprise system support, business intelligence, and strategic communications that advance the university's academic and enrollment mission.

As part of the Department of Enrollment Management & Services, our primary partnerships are with the offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, the Registrar, and other Academic Affairs administrative offices. We also collaborate extensively with the Division of Information Technology and numerous colleges, departments, and administrative offices across campus to implement enterprise initiatives, develop innovative solutions, and improve institutional business processes.

Whether supporting the university's Student Information System, developing custom applications for Academic Affairs, delivering data analytics to campus leadership, or communicating important system updates and initiatives, our focus is on building collaborative partnerships that help the university operate more effectively and better serve the campus community.

Strategic Technology Leadership

Advance the mission and strategic goals of Enrollment Management & Services through the effective use of technology. Provide functional and technical expertise to departments throughout the division. Advocate for technology investments and collaborate with the Division of Information Technology to ensure campus priorities are represented.

Enterprise Systems & Innovation

Lead and support enterprise technology initiatives that improve business operations and student services. Evaluate, implement, and expand the use of delivered PeopleSoft functionality and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities for innovation through automation, process improvement, and application modernization.

Application Development & System Integration

Develop and maintain enterprise applications, custom solutions, and system integrations that support university operations. Partner with campus stakeholders and third-party vendors to implement new features and enhance existing services. Collaborate with the Division of Information Technology on enterprise technology projects and strategic initiatives.

Improve the quality, accessibility, and effective use of institutional data. Develop operational reports, dashboards, and analytics that support informed decision-making across the university. Teams

PeopleSoft Campus Solutions

The PeopleSoft Campus Solutions team serves as the embedded functional and technical support team for the university's Student Information System (SIS). As subject matter experts in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, the team partners closely with Enrollment Management & Services, Academic Affairs, the Division of Information Technology, and other campus stakeholders to implement new functionality, enhance existing business processes, and deliver solutions that support the university's strategic enrollment and academic objectives. Drawing upon extensive knowledge of admissions, financial aid, student records, enrollment, curriculum, and degree progress, the team provides both functional consultation and technical development throughout the lifecycle of system enhancements and projects. Responsibilities include business analysis, application configuration, custom development, system integrations, testing, production support, and collaboration with campus partners and third-party vendors to implement new features and improve enterprise services. By combining deep functional expertise with technical knowledge of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, the team helps ensure the university's Student Information System continues to evolve in support of students, faculty, staff, and institutional priorities.

Research and Analytics

The Research & Analytics team transforms institutional data into meaningful information that supports informed decision-making throughout the university. Working with data from PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and other enterprise systems, the team develops reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions that provide campus leaders with timely and accurate insights into admissions, enrollment, financial aid, student success, curriculum, and academic operations. In partnership with the Division of Academic Affairs, the team also designs, develops, and maintains custom web applications that streamline academic business processes and improve operational efficiency. These applications support the full curriculum lifecycle, from proposal development and workflow automation to academic planning and reporting. The team serves as the technical steward for key academic systems that support curriculum and catalog management, including the Curriculog curriculum management platform and the Acalog academic catalog system. By developing integrations, automating data exchanges, and enhancing supporting applications, the team helps ensure curriculum information remains accurate, accessible, and efficiently managed across the university. By combining expertise in business intelligence, application development, data integration, and academic systems, the Research & Analytics team enables departments to leverage data and technology in support of strategic planning, operational excellence, and student success.

Communications

The Communications team serves as the primary liaison for technology-related communications within Enrollment Management & Services and supports campus-wide communication efforts related to student systems and services. The team develops and maintains websites, publishes announcements and system notifications, coordinates project communications, creates documentation and training materials, and helps ensure faculty, staff, and students receive clear, timely, and accurate information regarding system changes, new services, and operational initiatives. Working closely with technical and functional teams, Communications helps translate complex technical projects into accessible information that promotes awareness, engagement, and successful adoption across the university.
